Nakusp offers a haven for boating enthusiasts and has a boat launch and marina. Nakusp is ideally suited to quality living in a superlative environment for both young and old.

Waterfront Walkway
 | Through a combined effort from the BC government, BC Hydro, the Historical Society, Village works, the K-40 Club, and many families, a beautiful walkway consisting of gardens, grassy areas, a picnic area, gazebo, and a bathroom / concession building was constructed along the waterfront. Come and relax on any of the 27 benches along the walkway.

Nakusp Hot Springs
Although our area is blessed with several fine natural hot springs, the accessibility and quality of the Nakusp Hot Springs continues to attract thousands of tourists every year. The pools are open year round for 4 season enjoyment and there is a relaxing coffee shop offering many kinds of refreshments.

Recreation Facilities
Recreation facilities draw crowds annually to hockey, curling and slo-pitch tournaments. The Bonnington Arts Centre is operated by an active arts council responsible for bringing numerous cultural activities to Nakusp.
A 12 acre park in downtown Nakusp features a senior citizens’ drop-in and recreation centre, a modern arena, a four-sheet curling rink, squash courts, tennis courts, children’s playground, skatepark, Child Day Care Facility, soccer field, three ball fields and a municipal campground, all only minutes from the public beach.
Library
The Village of Nakusp Centennial Building houses an excellent public library and museum. Next door is the Visitor Centre operated by the Nakusp & District Chamber of Commerce.
