Nakusp and Area Development Board
The Nakusp and Area Development Board (NADB) is an incorporated non-profit society whose purpose is to further the development of this region in the tourism, social, education, forestry, heritage/arts/culture and economic sectors. The board includes representation from Nakusp Village Council, Nakusp and District Chamber of Commerce, Community Futures, WorkBC, Selkirk College, as well as business owners and other community members.

The mission of the Nakusp & District Chamber of Commerce (NDCC) is to maintain a role of leadership and advocacy in the Nakusp and District business community while promoting and supporting economic development and tourism in partnership with community stakeholders. The Nakusp & District Chamber of Commerce maintains an online directory of members and operates the local Nakusp Visitor Centre.
