The Village of Nakusp is committed to transparent financial operations. The Village develops a Five-Year Financial Plan through the annual municipal budget process and produces other quarterly and annual reports to benefit staff and residents. A long-term financial plan also guides the Village, and posts audited financial statements after each year-end.
Five-Year Financial Plan
Each year council reviews the priorities and goals for the upcoming year and directs staff to prepare a comprehensive Five-Year Financial Plan, as required by the Community Charter.
The Five-Year Financial Plan reflects the Village of Nakusp’s continuing effort to provide quality service in daily operations and local governance consistent with the priorities and strategies identified in the community’s comprehensive sustainability plan.
