Annual Reports for the Village of Nakusp provide an overview of the previous year's highlights, identify goals for the upcoming year, and present the municipality’s audited financial statements.
The Community Charter requires all municipalities to produce an annual report by June 30 and outlines other requirements for the annual report. Other requirements include an overview of municipal services and operations, a progress report on municipal objectives, a list of property tax exemptions, and a declaration of any member of council disqualified from council.
The report is presented at an annual public meeting, and printed and electronic copies are available.
