The Village Utility bill includes the annual fee for water and sewer service. Utility bills are mailed out in February each year. Early payment by the last business day in March provides residents with a 5% discount; otherwise, the due date is the last business day in August. Unpaid accounts receive a penalty on the first business day in September. If the account remains unpaid by the end of the year, the unpaid amount gets transferred to the Property Tax account as arrears and starts accruing daily interest.
Payment Plans
The Village provides residents with the opportunity to sign up for a five (5) month payment plan. The plan does require annual renewal, and a payment plan document is provided with the utility bill.
