The Village provides a bi-weekly curbside pick for accepted recycling products in residential areas within the municipal boundary as part of the mandated Multi-Material BC (MMBC) Program.
Curbside pickup of accepted items is divided into two (2) Zones for the community, with pick up each week alternating between the zones. Put your accepted products in your blue bin(s) and place them at your curbside on collection day (see schedule below). Please ensure the blue bins are at the curb by 7 AM on collection day.
No sorting tags are needed;
There is no limit to the number of blue bins residents can put at the curbside;
Please ensure only accepted products are put in your blue bins;
Additional blue bins can be purchased locally at stores that sell recycling bins, and,
Plastic "Save-On" bags and Styrofoam can be disposed of at the RDCK Recycling Depot at the RDCK's Landfill off Hot Springs Road, not in Village Bule Bins.
