The Village of Nakusp is responsible for operating and maintaining safe and effective water services for our residents. Trained and certified staff members ensure that our water quality exceeds government requirements. Our Water Operators follow Canadian Drinking Water guidelines which outline the level of treatment based on population and water source types for our municipality. Which provides direction that we must maintain a minimum of 0.2 milligrams per litre chlorine residual.
