The 2026 General Local Election is coming up this fall! Here are some important details for voters and anyone considering running for Village Council.

Advance Voting:
- Wednesday, October 7, 2026
- 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Auditorium, Nakusp & District Sports Complex, 200 8th Ave NW
General Voting:
- Saturday, October 17, 2026
- 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Auditorium, Nakusp & District Sports Complex, 200 8th Ave NW
𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
- Arrow Lakes Hospital: Saturday, October 17, 2026, 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM for residents, patients, or workers at this location
- Halcyon House Assisted Living: Saturday, October 17, 2026, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM for residents or workers at this location

Voter registration will take place on voting day. Please bring two pieces of identification with you and be prepared to stop twice before casting your vote:
- To confirm your residency
- To register and receive your ballot
