The Province of BC has issued a Category 2 open burning prohibition in the Southeast Fire Centre starting at Noon Friday, July 5, 2024. For certainty, this means no:
  • Fireworks
  • Sky Lanterns
Campfires are permitted so long as they are half a meter by half a meter and burn firewood.
