Forestry is a Solution

The Village of Nakusp Council endorses the "Forestry is a Solution" coalition campaign. 

At the March 23, 2026, Regular Council meeting, the Village of Nakusp Council passed the following resolution:

THAT Council formally endorse the Forestry is a Solution Coalition campaign.
AND THAT Council encourages residents to learn more about the campaign and participate in its public engagement activities.
AND THAT Council recognizes the importance of the forestry sector to the local and regional economy.
