A paving contractor will begin completing some patch paving around town on July 29th and will complete the work by August 12th. The work will start with cutting and removing the old material prior to paving. Expect detours in the areas where the work is being completed. Please slow down and respect traffic signs.
The half block in front of the Post Office will be closed to vehicle traffic on Friday, August 2nd and Monday, August 12th. Please note that the Farmer's Markets on Saturday, August 3rd and Saturday, August 10th will still be open and accessible to foot traffic.
The paving contractor will be starting and completing patch paving on the following days on the following days on the following roads:
- August 7 and 8, 2024: Government Hill
- August 8 and 9, 2024: Alexander Road, at Marshall Road
- August 12, 2024: Broadway Street, in front of the post office
