News Release
Village contractors will be performing road base preparation and paving on numerous sections of roads within the Village this week and next week, from September 14-25, 2026. These sections are as followed:
- Hot Springs Road, at Highway 23;
- Hot Springs Road, turning into the RDCK Transfer Station;
- Hot Springs Road, across from the RDCK Transfer Station turn off;
- 2nd Street NW, between 5th Avenue NW and 6th Avenue NW;
- 1st Street NW, between 1st Avenue NE and Nelson Avenue N;
- Broadway Street W, at 8th Avenue NW; and
- 4th Street NW, at the Nakusp Municipal Campground entrance.

Please expect temporary one lane traffic and / or gravel surfaces for portions of this time. Follow directions given by contractors and/or signage in the area.
