The replacement cover for the water reservoir is being installed next week, beginning on Tuesday, May 20th, 2025, and we anticipate completing the work that may affect water service work by Friday, May 23rd, 2025.
This necessary project is to protect the Village’s water system. It requires taking the reservoir offline and pumping water from the wells in the Village core to provide a limited potable water supply to the higher areas of the Village’s water system.
If something unplanned affects the drinking water quality and the Village must issue a boil water order, the most immediate way to be notified is through the Voyent Alert system.
To sign up for the Voyent Alert notification system, do so online, from your smartphone or computer, at www.voyent-alert.com/community. If you know someone who has not signed up for Voyent Alert and does not use the internet, please have them call or visit the Village Office. We can register them to receive notifications without internet access.
