The Village Council will take part in a workshop on adjudicating lease proposals on Monday, March 30, at 6:30 PM at the Emergency Services Building (300 8th Ave NW) or virtually via Zoom.

The public may attend as observers, but there will be no public participation or question period. This is not a Council meeting.
 
The workshop will guide Council on how to evaluate applications for leasing Village-owned properties, including:
 
  • The Community Charter’s rules on providing assistance to businesses;
  • Key elements of a strong proposal; and
  • How to assess community benefit using the established formula.
All adjudications will follow Policy C014 – Non-Market Leasing of Civic Land and/or Buildings, available on the Village’s website here.
