Village crews have recently been performing some watermain flushing within the Village, to ensure that we continue to have a clean and potable drinking water supply.
During watermain flushing, it is common to have changes in your water's appearance. If you experience discoloured water at any time, please follow the following steps:
- Run the outside tap closest to where the water service enters the house for ten (10) minutes;
- Remove the aerators (screens) from your taps inside the house;
- Turn the cold water tap on and let the water run for ten (10) minutes; then
- Place the aerators back on your taps.
