Joining a Sport or Recreational Program
Community organizations offer excellent sports and recreational programs throughout the village and surrounding areas.
The Recreation Clerk provides programming opportunities for the Village of Nakusp, and most programs occur in the Nakusp and District Sports Complex. If you are interested in being an instructor or have an idea for a program, contact us at rec_program@nakusp.com!

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8AM-12PM
Drop-In Indoor Pickleball
Drop-in indoor pickleball is back up and running for the 2025/2026 season at the Sports Complex Auditorium!
Drop-in indoor pickleball is currently following the below schedule:
Mondays, 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM: senior drop-in
Mondays, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM: adult drop-in
Thursdays, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM: adult drop-in
Fridays, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM: family drop-in
Fridays, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: all ages drop-in
Saturdays, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM: all ages drop-in

Drop-in playing costs $2.00 per player. Equipment (paddles and balls) are available at the Auditorium for player use.
The Sports Complex will be closed on all statutory holidays, and for rentals of the auditorium. If you have any questions about the schedule, please reach out to rec_program@nakusp.com
