Village crews will be performing unidirectional flushing beginning Thursday, April 16, 2026, and this flushing will continue until further notice.
This process uses high-velocity water flow to scour the pipes, helping to remove accumulated minerals, sediment, and other debris that can build up over time. By clearing out these materials, the flushing helps maintain water quality, improve system efficiency, and ensure the continued reliability of the Village’s water distribution system.
