We’ve completed the first phase of our traffic calming pilot on Broadway Street by removing the pylons at Broadway and 1st Avenue. This phase helped us evaluate how effective certain measures are at reducing vehicle speeds and improving pedestrian safety.
What’s Next?
Over the coming weeks, the Village will continue testing additional traffic calming solutions along Broadway. These may include various design and infrastructure options aimed at slowing down traffic and making the street safer for everyone.
