News Release
Community Clean Up week is officially underway! Our crews will be collecting yard waste April 20-24. To make sure your materials are picked up, please remember:
- Maximum of TWO piles per property
- Pile size limit: Each pile must be no larger than 1 cubic metre (about the size of a washing machine)
- Accepted materials: • Grass clippings • Tree and shrub pruning • Leaves (piles and paper bags are accepted)
- Not accepted: Road gravel, appliances, furniture, demolition waste, or household/commercial garbage.
Please note: items outside these guidelines will not be collected and remain the responsibility of the property owner to dispose of properly.
Pile Placement
- Place piles on the front boulevard of your property
- Alley collection requires approval; please contact the Village Office in advance
- Keep piles away from fences, trees, vehicles, mailboxes, and other obstacles
- Ensure piles are easily accessible for collection crews
- Stack tree branches and shrubs parallel to the boulevard for easier pickup
Safety Reminder
For the safety of both residents and work crews, please avoid driving down roads where crews are actively working and use alternate routes whenever possible.
