When requesting a FireSmart Home Assessment, please ensure that you identify the correct jurisdiction: either RDCK for Area K residents or Nakusp for municipal residents.

As part of the Community Resiliency Investment program, there is potential for homeowners to be compensated up to $5,000 for performing FireSmart activities on residential property or homes. The rebate application intake is open from March 15 to October 31, and applications are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while funding is available.
